This report refines and updates 2011 modelling on suspended sediment loads across New Zealand with new and longer calibration datasets and updated predictors. This includes estimates of sediment loading under pre-human and pre-European land cover. The report also describes a model developed to estimate estuarine sediment trap efficiency with results primarily useful for characterising relative differences across estuary types.
