The Resource Management (Simplifying and Streamlining) Amendment Bill 2009 has been introduced into Parliament and referred to the Local Government and Environment Committee for consideration. Public submissions closed on 3 April 2009. The Committee is to report back to the House of Parliament on 18 August 2009.
