Draft Report and Decision

The Board of Inquiry released its Draft Report and Decision on the Hauāuru mā raki Wind Farm Proposal on 25 February 2011, as required under section 148 of the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA).

The Draft Report and Decision was provided to Contact Energy, the two affected councils (as a result of the Auckland Super City, those parts of the windfarm that were located in Franklin District are now within the Waikato District), all 83 submitters and the Minister for the Environment.

These parties had until 5pm on the 25 March 2011 to provide comments to the Board.
