Implications of a National Waste Levy for Product Stewardship Policies and Schemes

In May 2006 the Ministry for the Environment commissioned Covec Limited to look at the potential implications of a national waste levy on product stewardship policies and schemes.
The resulting report is not official government policy, nor does it reflect the Ministry’s position on the issues surrounding the potential implications of a national waste levy on product stewardship polices and schemes. The report does however summarise the main issues that need to be considered during the development of waste policy.
