Household Sustainability Benchmark Survey

The Household Sustainability Benchmark Survey, conducted in November 2007, covers New Zealanders’ beliefs, attitudes and behaviour towards becoming sustainable. Subjects of the survey include: heating and general energy use; rubbish and waste; water use; purchasing groceries and other items; transport; and major purchases.
The results of this survey have been updated by the Household Sustainability Survey 2008, which was completed in September 2008.
