Urban Amenity Trials Report

October 2000, Ref. TR65

This report provides information to the councils involved in trialling key approaches to urban amenity was an essential step in the Ministry funded Urban Amenity Project. The overall purpose of this paper is to provide a clear statement on some tools for defining, managing, and monitoring urban amenity (including indicator development) in local environments, and to set up the four council trials to test these ideas.
