The Needs Analysis: Final Report

September 1998, Ref. TR32

This report (Sept. 1998) summarises the results of the "needs analysis" carried out as a component of the information management project included within the MfE Environmental Performance Indicators programme. In summary, the original aim of the analysis was (a) to develop a robust process for establishing the needs that exist in the resource management community for a national environmental information management system, and (b) to obtain a preliminary assessment of what those needs are.
