Proposed National Policy Statement for Renewable Electricity Generation 2008
Regulatory Impact Statement
In July 2008, Cabinet approved the release of the proposed National Policy Statement for Renewable Electricity Generation to the Board of Inquiry. This decision was informed by consideration of this Regulatory Impact Statement, which is a short document setting out the costs and benefits of the proposed Objective and policies.
