Land Use Planning Guide for Hazardous Facilities
February 2002, Ref. ME424
This guide is the result of the review of the 1995 document Land Use Planning for Hazardous Facilities commonly known as the “Red Book”. The Red Book introduced planning guidelines for hazardous facilities and a new planning method, the Hazardous Facility Screening Procedure (HFSP). In addition, the calculation spreadsheet has been produced as a template for the HFSP.
