Hazardous Substance Strategy: Proposals to Amend the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996

The short term actions of the Hazardous Substances Strategy are now complete. One of the longer term actions is a HSNO amendment bill to be introduced late in 2004. This discussion paper invited submissions on key issues likely to be covered in the bill. Submissions closed on Friday 11 June 2004.
