This report was submitted to the Ministry for the Environment as an independent appraisal of the health risks posed to the New Zealand population by dioxin and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls. The report contains recommendations on the management of these chemicals in New Zealand, and the need to reduce population exposures.
