Contaminated Site Management Guideline No. 1 - Guidelines for Reporting on Contaminated Sites in New Zealand

Developed in partnership with the Ministry of the Environment, and regional councils and unitary authorities in New Zealand to ensure consistency in the reporting on contaminated sites. The guideline includes checklists for reporting requirements for contaminated sites and for the removal of petroleum underground storage tanks.

Contaminated Land Management Guidelines No.1 - Reporting on Contaminated Sites in New Zealand (MfE 2003, Ref. ME492) is the updated version of this guideline, incorporating references to the HAIL and other technical changes.
