Transport Emissions Study - Modelling and Monitoring

September 1997, Ref. AQTR6

This study investigated the nature and impacts on air quality of emissions from motor vehicles to establish the key factors affecting roadside pollution levels and how we can predict pollution concentrations near roadways.

The report was prepared by Gavin Fisher, Neil Gimson, Gerda Kuschel, and Janet Petersen from the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment and Ministry of Transport.
