Reducing Emissions from Domestic Home Heating

This technical report assesses the options for managing the emissions from domestic fires.

Please note:
Since the publication of this report, a few woodburner designs and efficiencies have progressed and several policies discussed in the report, in particular Environment Canterbury’s Proposed Regional Air Plan, have evolved. More up-to-date information can be obtained from Environment Canterbury and the Home Heating Association websites.
