Action plan monitoring

As part of their commitment to the New Zealand Urban Design Protocol, signatories develop, monitor and report on a set of actions specific to their organisation. After signing up signatories have 6 months to submit an action plan. Signatories are then required to monitor these action plans every two years.

The first round of monitoring occurred in October 2006.

Signatories filled in an online survey for each action and then also one for their overall action plan.

The 2006 round of monitoring has provided baseline information on the implementation of the Protocol. This will help MfE to identify successes and to development more support for all signatories.

The next round of monitoring will occur on 31 August 2008. Further information on this will be available closer to the time.
