The government’s climate change adaptation programme coordinates work across many sectors of our economy. The programme focuses on preparing for and adapting to climate change, including engaging with the community on the importance of planning and preparation; and taking a strategic approach to climate change.
The Ministry for the Environment is coordinating central government work on adaptation to climate change, except in the sectors of agriculture and forestry, which are coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
